Portugal has a strong tradition of pastry. The nuns of Sainte-Claire, belonging to convents spread all over our land, became famous for the pastry they produced and their recipes passed from generation to generation, this way preserving these sweet treasures of our heritage.

So, Guimarães is no exception and is proud to present Toucinho-do-céu and Tortas, still following the recipes left by the nuns of the city.
